Memoirs of Mrs. Louisa A. Lowrie (American Presbyterian Missions)

Reading the journals and letters of a mature believer who died at an early age is an edifying experience - especially when that believer was a missionary. Louisa Lowrie died from tuberculosis when she was 24 years old, just after she had married the Rev. Mr. John Cameron Lowrie and journeyed with him to the mission field in India. Her devotion to the Lord, her faith in suffering, and her desire for the gospel to go to the nations are an example for every disciple of Jesus.
